Bear and I bowling

The other day Bear asked me, “Mom, do you remember when we went to the Mother/ Son bowling event?” I smiled as I remembered the black lights, disco balls and pounding music. We had a blast! Ironically, it was exactly a year ago that we went. Of course, I marked the occasion with a little selfie of me and my guy. And of course, it could not be a worse picture with the black lighting, disco balls and pounding music but don’t let my poor photography fool you. My bear wears his emotions on his face and I couldn’t ask for anything more.

The family and I headed up to northern Wisconsin (way up der hey) this weekend. What a trip! The fall colors were amazing and Indian Summer was in full effect. Of course, it also presented an opportunity to take a lot of photos. Hubby was ready to confiscate Lola after day two but I won’t hold that against him.

Blinded

Yep, I caught myself trying to look through the blinds. It makes me think of that song, “Blinded by the light, revved up like a deuce another runner in the night. Blinded by the light, she got down but she never got tight.” Hopefully that doesn’t give you an ear worm because now I can’t get that song out of my head!

Who's giving me bunny ears??

Nothing like having a little fun at my own expense. I notice when I try and take pictures of Bear and his friends, at least one person tries to give someone else bunny ears. Wonder where that little prank came from? Any ideas? This time I decided to give them to myself!
