Friday Haiku – I Must Believe

The unexpected

Always catches you off guard

Leaving you breathless.

But one must have faith

To get through difficult times

And trust in His plan.

Friday Haiku – Circle of Trust

Five friends and brothers

The line between often blurred

Their friendship runs deep.

Sometimes a bother

Always there for each other

In good times and bad.

Till somebody moves

Causing a ripple effect

And chaos ensues.

Friday Haiku – Jealousy

neener neenerA little sassy

In how she presents herself

In shades of scarlet

The others whisper

For she attracts attention

She heeds them no mind

For when they turn ’round

She shows her true colors

And childish side

Be sure to head over to Lou’s to read what everyone else is haikuing about this week.

Friday Haiku – It’s Bliss Baby

I'm a Blissdom Community Leader!In less than a week

I’ll be surrounded by squees

And over due hugs

I’m back in Nashville

Reunited with good friends

Anyone want gauc?

Can’t wait for Blissdom

A time to learn and reflect

Sprinkled with glitter.

Be sure to head over to Lou’s to read what everyone else is haikuing about this week.

Stark Mystery

The ancient bonsai

Full of mystery and intrigue

Wrapped in history

Branches intertwine

Dancing with intricacy

Delicate, yet strong

Where coiling eels meet

Gorgeous shades of green emerge

Embracing their roots

Miniature in size

Elementary in beauty

And fashioned with love

For the IndieInk Writing Challenge this week, Carrie challenged me with “bonsai, elementary, coiling eels” and I challenged Grace O’Malley with “Create a story or poem based on this personification: The sun bows as pain vibrates“.

Friday Haiku – Trapped

haiku friday
I hate the feeling
Of spinning out of control
Trying to stay sane

When I least expect
Bombarded with emotions
Bringing me back down

Till I take a breath
And see how life’s meant to be
The memory fades

Be sure to head over to Lou’s to read what everyone else is haikuing about this week.

friday haiku – broken

haiku, friday haiku
Instantly shatters

As its pieces scatter round

Shards are everywhere

Who will pick them up

When the glass can cut so deep

Leaving only pain
