Friday Haiku – I Must Believe

The unexpected

Always catches you off guard

Leaving you breathless.

But one must have faith

To get through difficult times

And trust in His plan.

Friday Haiku – Circle of Trust

Five friends and brothers

The line between often blurred

Their friendship runs deep.

Sometimes a bother

Always there for each other

In good times and bad.

Till somebody moves

Causing a ripple effect

And chaos ensues.

Be sure to head over to Lou’s to read what everyone else is haikuing about this week.

Friday Haiku – A Boy’s Life

Embracing their youth

They only live for the day

In the here and now.

Their hearts on their sleeve

Filled with reckless abandon

Nothing but pure joy.

Be sure to head over to Lou’s to read what everyone else is haikuing about this week.

Friday Haiku – Challenged

I threw out a challenge to twitter today, asking the masses to pick what I should haiku about on this fine Friday. G H Gunn challenged me to haiku about Antidisestablishmentarianism. Well, that’s a mouthful! And since I did ask the twittersphere, I thought I had better ante up!  Here is my ode to church and politics:

The longest word known

In the English language

With twelve syllables.

Those English opposed

Separating church and state

Because of ideals.

Anyone want to challenge me for next week?

Friday Haiku – Tangled Heart Strings

I look at his smile

With big fat tears in his eyes

And fat pudgy cheeks.

Tangled up with love

Back in the days of his youth

Entranced by beauty.

Always there to see

Sitting on my camera

I just can’t delete.

Be sure to head over to Lou’s to read what everyone else is haikuing about this week.

Friday Haiku – Jealousy

neener neenerA little sassy

In how she presents herself

In shades of scarlet

The others whisper

For she attracts attention

She heeds them no mind

For when they turn ’round

She shows her true colors

And childish side

Be sure to head over to Lou’s to read what everyone else is haikuing about this week.

Friday Haiku – It’s Bliss Baby

I'm a Blissdom Community Leader!In less than a week

I’ll be surrounded by squees

And over due hugs

I’m back in Nashville

Reunited with good friends

Anyone want gauc?

Can’t wait for Blissdom

A time to learn and reflect

Sprinkled with glitter.

Be sure to head over to Lou’s to read what everyone else is haikuing about this week.

Friday Haiku – Hope For A Better Day

Amidst the darkness

A shimmering light shine through

Offering us hope

Be sure to head over to Lou’s to read what everyone else is haikuing about this week.

Friday Haiku – For Sale By Owner

Presents are all wrapped
Placed neatly under the tree
Such a sight to see

Till an evil dog
Decides they are all for her
And shreds them to bits

Don’t let her cute bow
Deceive you in any way
She’s a naughty pooch

Be sure to head over to Lou’s to read what everyone else is haikuing about this week.
