Sitting down to write

My head is swirling around

A lot to take in

So much has happened

So many changes ahead

Yet another loss

But your life was lived

At length and to its fullest

Your passing was quick

So what lays ahead

In swirling uncertainty

A road trip for sure

Time to reconnect

To all I have left behind

Ready for closure
